Bloco Suicida – „Selbstmordbloco“ aus Spanien

Als 2013, bei der 3. Ausgabe des Samba-Festivals „Samba Embora“ in Tordesillas (Valladolid, Spanien), eine Gruppe ausfiel, wurde Sergio Poffo gefragt, ob er mit ein paar Trommlern kurzentschlossen einspringen könnte. „Na klar“ war die Antwort und kurz danach „Au weia“. Mit nur einer knappen Stunde Probe, mit Leuten, die aus verschiedenen Bands und verschiedenen Städten Spaniens und Deutschlands zusammengewürfelt wurden, und nur einem Tag Vorlaufzeit vor dem Auftritt, das ist doch Selbstmord! Aber schon war Bloco Suicida, der „Selbstmord-Bloco“ geboren.

Hauptantrieb Spaß am Trommeln und Feiern

Der Auftritt verlief dann richtig gut, die Musiker hatten sehr viel Spaß und das imponierte vielen anderen, die daraufhin auch gleich mitmachen wollten. Sergio, ein Sambagruppenleiter aus Vitoria und die Trommler brachte das dann auf die Idee, den Bloco als ständige, überregionale Gruppe zu etablieren. So geschah es dann auch, denn schon oft trafen sich einzelne spanische Trommler oder kleine Gruppenteile auf dem einem oder anderen Samba-Festival, ohne jeweils spielfähig zu sein. So auch ganz besonders Sergio, der uns seit nunmehr 10 Jahren jedes Jahr zum Coburger Sambafestival in Deutschland besuchen kommt.

Zur ersten Probe kamen die Trommler aus ganz Spanien angereist, übernachteten bei den Mitgliedern der örtlichen Sambagruppe und probten das nun konkretisierte Sambareggaeprogramm. Aber vor allem feierten Sie! Denn der Hauptantrieb dieses Blocos ist der Spaß am Trommeln und zusammen eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen.
Gearbeitet wurde natürlich auch an den Grooves und Breaks und natürlich an der Choreografie und am Ende entstand ein Video, mit dem aktuellen Programm, das für alle Teilnehmer und auch für neu Dazukommende die Vorlage zum Üben ist. Da nur maximal einmal im Monat geprobt wird, und das in ganz verschiedenen Regionen Spaniens, ist der Teilnehmerwechsel natürlich enorm, aber durch das Video sind alle immer auf dem gleichen Stand.

2014: Bloco Suicida in Deutschland

Durch Sandra, Mitglied bei União do Samba, kam der Kontakt zustande. Sandra lebte mehrere Jahre in Spanien und spielte bei verschiedenen Sambagruppen mit. Sie kennt Sergio seit dieser Zeit, wollte nicht so weit fahren zur Suicida-Probe und lud Sergio kurzerhand zu einem Workshop nach Augsburg ein. Dort vermittelte er uns das Programm, das wir seither in unregelmäßigen Abständen proben. Auch hier ist das wichtigste das Video.

Zu dritt waren wir dann auch auf einem Probenwochenende in Avila. Das hat richtig Spaß gemacht und verlangt nach mehr.

2014 kam dann Bloco Suicida das erste Mal mit ca. 50 Musikern und Tänzerinnen nach Coburg zum Sambafestival. União do Samba war dann auch zum Teil bei diesen Auftritten mit dabei und das machte dann schon richtig Lautstärke und Spaß.

Ableger in Frankreich und Würzburg

Mittlerweile sind auch Ableger in Frankreich entstanden, die unter Sergios Leitung proben.
Sandra fährt ab und zu zu einer Probe nach Spanien oder Frankreich und hat in Würzburg den Bloco-B gegründet, der ausschließlich das Bloco Suicida-Programm spielt. Dort gibt es auch zusätzlich, einmal im Monat, eine offene Suicida-Probe am Samstag.

2015: 130 Trommler in Coburg

2015 waren wir dann gemeinsam mit vermutlich 130 spanischen, französischen und deutschen Trommlern und Tänzerinnen auf dem Sambafestival in Coburg als größter teilnehmender Bloco unterwegs. Unser Hauptauftritt war am Samstagabend auf der großen Schlossplatzbühne direkt nach Olodum.

Im Herbst 2015 war ein Auftritt mit Probenwochenende von Bloco Suicida mit spanischer und französischer Beteiligung auf einem Festival in Frankreich. In Spanien wird immer noch einmal im Monat reihum, in den verschiedenen Städten der befreundeten Sambagruppen, geprobt. Sergio und einige weitere Spanier fahren dieses Jahr zu Ostern wieder zu einem Probenwochenende nach Frankreich bzw. kommen ein paar Franzosen im Mai nach Spanien zu einem Probenwochenende.

Bloco Suicida wächst weiter

Sergio kommt ab und zu auch nach Deutschland, um mit uns neuere Stücke zu proben und die alten aufzufrischen und so lebt und wächst das Projekt Bloco Suicida stetig weiter. T-Shirts, Bandlogo, Choreografien, neue Videos sind gemacht und unser Traum ist, mit União do Samba endlich nach Spanien zu fahren, um dort auf einem Festival Bloco Suicida zu spielen. Vielleicht klappt es ja dieses Jahr?
